The XD stands for extra deep and the LC 2.0XD is a smaller profile depth that will still dive down to 12 feet of water. This is an excellent medium depth for a bait that is smaller than many other baits in this diving range, giving the fish a different look at that depth.

"I'll fish the bait on either 10 or 12-pound fluorocarbon," says Brent Ehrler. "It's a great smaller profile that gets deep, and I think the bait performs a little bit better on 10-pound and will easily hit 12 feet, but sometimes you have to use a heavier line. If I am fishing for smallmouth, I'll go up to 12-pound because the fish are so mean, and I'm usually banging the bait into rocks.
