The Sinking Series is designed specifically for fishing with Forward Facing Sonar. The tungsten ball is used to cast quickly to the distance where bass are located, and the Sinking Ratio is set higher to reach the target depth faster. When you find a bass on the Sonar, cast quickly, let it sink quickly, and let the lure pass in front of the bass as many times as possible. This is the best way to catch fish and win tournaments. The most effective use of a slim-bodied, three-hook lure that casts well and sinks fast, like the Lightning Pointer 110XRS, is to cover a lot of water to catch smallmouth bass in the early summer.
