The Gunfish 117 has the appearance of a classic pencil popper topwater with a modern appearance and better components. It has a thicker taper in the rear than smaller versions of the Gunfish, allowing for an even more extended casting distance to reach schooling fish.
The bait features three treble hooks and walks tight and creates an aggressive action on the surface. It excels for pulling fish from deep cover, including brushpiles and cane piles. While it works everywhere, the bait is incredibly effective on waters where blueback herring are the primary forage base.
