The Gunfish 95 topwater is an excellent topwater bait for covering water and drawing bass to the surface. The subtle action perfectly imitates a small baitfish and Brent Ehrler calls the Gunfish 95 the perfect topwater bait for schooling fish. The bait's great action and calling power is now available in a version with three treble hooks instead of two, giving anglers more options.
"I've been asking for a three hook version of the GunFish 95 for years and very happy to see it designed, but it's essentially the same look and action," says Ehrler. "When fishing for schooling fish, or any topwater fishing, your hookup percentage can sometimes suffer. Sometimes the bass swipe at a bait or don't hit it just right and you will miss some of those fish. Having a third hook helps you get more of these short-striking bass."
